<p>All of the chem professors require students to have the newest edition.</p>
<p>The problem with that is it's generally more expensive, so I'm wondering, is it fine using an older edition of the required book?</p>
<p>Honestly I used an older edition for my chem courses, even organic. But I always brought it to the professor the first day of class to get approval.</p>
