<p>Am an international student who recently applied to uchicago.i was in the top 10%of my class and had all As in the national exam and a g.p.a of4.0 but i only managed 1880 in the sat1 with 1270 math and c.r combined..i also have good recomz and wrote a decent essay.is my sat score too low for uchicag?</p>
<p>It’s definitely on the low end of possible. Have you studied English long? What’s your math svore, what’s CR? Are you from a county that sends them few applicants?</p>
<p>am from kenya where we use english as a 1st language…i got 700math n 570c.r…i was from the best high school from our country n we usually send to even ivy league every year but unfortunately i didnt av the sat buks so i cudnt do much abt that…so am a definite no no?</p>
<p>It kind of depends on how “decent” your essays are. If they were only “decent,” you don’t have a huge chance. But not a definite no no.</p>
