Are Online Community Classes Taken in High School Weighted to Colleges?

I’m taking some community college classes during my high school sophomore and junior year and they’re all UC/CSU transferable. It is to my understanding that UCs consider community college classes to be weighted when they compile GPAs, but does this usually apply for colleges outside of UCs, specifically private ones?

Additionally, the classes I’ve taken so far have been online/hybrid classes. Does this affect if they’re weighted to colleges?

If a university does not spell out how they calculate and weight HS and college classes for admission like the UC’s and CSU’s then you should use your unweighted GPA as a guide. Taking college courses while in HS will show good rigor and it will be up to the school to determine if they will be weighted and the credits transferable. Only way to know for sure is to contact the schools directly.
