Are online lessons worth it?

<p>Is it worth it to pay $650+text for AP US HISTORY? I'm not going to be able to get a credit for it, so all I can do with this is take the AP EXAM.</p>

<p>Is it worth it to do all the extra assignments and homework that I won't even need? Is AP US HISTORY self-studiable(with a prepbook)? I've never taken an American HIstory course and I'm gonna take 1 first semester this year.</p>
