are pharmacy requirements the same as premed? dental requirements?

I've been talking to alot of people about their career choices, and I have to say, pharmacy is very appealing. Dentistry not so much, but still in consideration.

Are the requirements for these exactly the same? Mostly the same? I had been told exactly the same, but I find that hard to believe.

They generally have the same core classes, dental and pharmacy sometimes have additions here and there.
You’re pretty much going to need these no matter what:
2 semesters gen chem + lab
2 semesters ochem + lab
2 semesters bio + lab
2 semesters physics + lab
2 semesters english/literature/composition
calculus/statistics (depends on the school)

You have to check with the individual schools to see what they require. The Texas medical schools are an example, they require 4 semesters of biology. Another addition one you may see is a biochemistry requirement.

For example, my school’s pharmacy school requires 1 semester of
Microbiology w/lab
Mammalian Physiology w/lab
Molecular or Cell Biology
Biochemistry
Psychology or Sociology
Micro-economics

War Chant is right, they are not exactly the same but all will require the courses he lists. This link will get you to the general and specific requirements/admissions standards of every pharmacy school in the country:
