Pre-med requirements (bare minimum. Some schools may have additional requirements):

Inorganic Chemistry: 1 year with lab
Organic Chemistry: 1 year with lab
Physics: 1 year with lab
English: 1 year

Dental:
"Dental schools, like medical and veterinary schools, require that all prospective students take 2 semesters of the following basic science courses in college: General Biology, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, General Physics and all their associated labs. Some dental schools recommend 2 semesters of Calculus." -http://www.dentalcomfortzone.com/archive/HowDentalSchoolWorksNS.html

In short, the requirements for medical school and dental school are virtually identical. Pharmacy requires additional courses.

Why is Pharm so anal? jeese u would think that dental or med would be more rigorous than pharm

Well you go way more in depth in med/dental school in the medical aspects. You dont worry about business/math/writing. Its pure medicine, and super in depth medicine at that

Will Dental schools accept the MCAT? or do you have to take the special dental school test?
I wonder this because I believe some Public Health Schools will accept MCATs in place of the GREs. I don't know if it is the same for dental schools.

Applicants to dental school have to take the Dental Admissions Test (DAT)
