I took the Scarlet Day tour a few months back and I loved everything about Rutgers...except the dorms they showed us.

Do any of the on-campus students on this forum have some feedback about the dorms? I think the ones we saw were on the Busch Campus, but I don't completely remember. Do any of you have trouble staying comfortably in there?

I don't plan on bringing much but a laptop, guitar and an amp, and the essentials, which all take up some space.

yeah i remember taking the same tour last year, and the room you saw was most likely in the BAMM complex on Busch. that room seemed small to me too, but it was comparable to every other college i visited. Some of the rooms on livingston are a bit smaller (especially in the towers). the room they show you is usually really cramped, as long as youre not planning on bringing a ton of stuff (which you said you arent) you will be fine.

I’m a current student on Livingston, which is where a lot of freshman end up living. I was lucky and got a corner room so it’s actually pretty big! A lot of people have smaller rooms but the only time people really complain about it is when you are moving in. After a while you don’t even notice anymore.
