Do you know if Berkeley has a lot of nontraditional students or a lot of students not in the age range 18-22? I applied to transfer there, but I kind of enjoy how I meet people of all ages at my 2-year college and will really miss that if I end up at a university with students mainly in the 18-22 age range. Plus, if I were to date, I'd prefer guys in the 24-26 age range. It's not only about meeting guys, though; I just like meeting people who vary in age.

Oh, and I'll just be turning 21 (in June) when I transfer (if I get in).

Dude! Wasn’t there a hugeass post about this somewhere? I remember reading a pretty extensive thread regarding just this. I think people were even talking about going to UCLA instead because of they thought there would be prettier people there. Hahhahaha. I wonder why Berkeley and UCSD has this rep.

Yes, there are tons of non traditional age students. Actually all ages. If you like the setting of you CCC than stop in the transfer center @ Cal & get to know the students who frequent that area.

I wouldn’t know since I’m not ugly…lol…however, like any other school, your going to have your attractive people, not so attractive & down right tore up people

that’s really judgmental/shallow if you’re going to a school JUST because of how people look! Sorry but that’s just odd haha.
Don’t forget there’s the entire friggin san fran area and bay area too! Not just the (oh, ya know) 35, 000 ugly students (btw how can an entire school be ugly? everybody’s beautiful in his/her/other pronoun’s own way :P)
