Are there any "Easy A" GE classes for Spring 09?

I'm an engineering student and I need GEs for Foundations of the Arts and Humanities (any sub-group) or Foundations of Society and Culture, Historical Analysis.

I took Communications Studies 10 for Social Analysis and it was a nightmare, one of the stupidest yet hardest classes ever. I don't want to repeat something like that again so I'm gonna ask for suggestions here.

Also, I've been recommended Philosophy 8 by some people, and I Bruinwalk'd the prof and he has good ratings, but the class is TA-graded so it's a matter of luck. :/

im taking italian 42a… its like italian history of something like that…yea im econ so im not really fond of the GEs either.

philos 22 is supposed to be pretty ez. 2 grades in the class midterm paper and final paper.
ur given the prompts in advance

hows math 3b goin gmargos?

lol i dropped it after the 1st midterm. and i’m thankful i did
i heard everyone is getting raped by that class.
ima take it next quarter with richardson. preparing for the worst
any clue about him?

how can you mess up math 3 series? i dont get it.

taylor series YO

hahahahahah cmon take a real series, like the 30 series

i mean i admit the taylor and mclauren series were real pains in the ass. but arent that hard compared to say…prove the divergence theorem…

first midterm, gmargos? come on, thats like integration by parts…

the class should be called calculus for future hairstylists.

try math 132… I’m in that right now and I think my brains are about to explode.

the class should be called calculus for future hairstylists.

more like the class for future doctors, pharmacists, researchers.

Or the dropouts who switch over to humanities.

dude, i never took calc in highschool. i had no clue what was going on in that class until the day before the midterm, and then it was too late. wutevs

^ LOL sounds like me in ap calc this year…trying to keep a C rit now haha
just curious i was admitted to UCLA
on my second choice major : geography/environmental Studies, but i really want to do engineering. is it really impossible to switch to a engineering major from the college of letter and sciences?

Yah, Math 3B was hard for me (crappy AP Calculus teacher), but there are office hours. Perservance, yo.

Try Chinese 50, Music 15, etc.

whats chinese 50? is that one of the engineering GEs?
