Are these AP classes worth it for political science?

I have only 1 more spot in my schedule. Which AP class would I be better off taking that will earn me credit in college? (AP human geo, AP Environmental Science, or AP Spanish Lang) would taking up to Spanish 4 let me skip classes in college?

Depends on the school. If you plan an international political focus, I’d go there.

But I think any of the classes are fine. Spanish would likely be your best bet but what interests you?

Some colleges give credit for AP classes, some don’t. It’s also dependent on how you do the exam. Most that do give credit require a 4 or 5 on the exam to get it. I would not pick a class based on this. Pick the class that interests you most.

Are there any particular areas of political science you may be interested in? More advanced Spanish skill or knowledge of environmental science or geography may be helpful in certain subareas (not necessarily the same for Spanish, environmental science, and geography), even if you do not get any credit for it.

Depends on the college- many have placement tests.

Unless you are looking to the IR end of things, and/or live in an area where having Spanish fluency is useful, none of those APs are inherently better for polisci, so follow your truest, most genuine interest.
