I know they're above average but I'm looking at like...Stanford so are these scores competitive in schools of that caliber?

Also I'll be taking Bio-M and Physics this december...and I think I should get at least 700 on those too.

That was a crappy test though, my calculator ran outta battery in the middle of Math II and I skipped a question on Chem without skipping that number on the answer sheet...and found out like 20 questions later.

Atachnotron, I mean he is applying Stanford... Isn't math 2 800 must have? It's like for chinese people getting <800 on chinese, because as long as you get 800 you are fine (they don't see the raw score, so if you have 60% you still get 800), but if you do less - it means you got <60%?

You don't need to get an 800, though if you are applying for engineering at a top engineering school a score under 750 MIGHT hurt you a little. I seem to recall that MIT said in their admissions blog a few years ago that 700+ is good enough. Here are admissions statistics for this past year at MIT - as you can see 25% of the class had less than a 740 on the math subject test. MIT Admissions: Admissions Statistics

Thanks guys. Seeing how I won't have another shot at these two this year, I'll just put my hopes in my application to Rotary Youth Exchange so I can have another chance next year...plus I get to be trilingual!

I know I can do so much better though, I was almost panicking after my calculator died when I was taking Math II. I know it doesn't help your calculations that much but it gave me this huge mental meltdown and that 10 minutes wasted on chem changing my answers back didn't help me either...

Btw I'm chinese, so uh...I have to get that 800...more or less.
