Are you overweight/"Fat"?

5’4, 125 lbs, 19% bodyfat.

I’m on a bulk right now, though. Will cut in spring during lax season.

I don’t believe that I am overweight: female- 5’2 103 lbs

Nope, lol…5’7, 120 lbs. size 2. Not fat. I like eating healthy. :)

i was really overweight a few months ago, now i’m leaning towards the ‘awkwardly proportioned’ side of normal. like, i used to be large. size 9 jeans, now i’m wearing 5s and 3s in some brands, but my top half is still big. i had to buy a size 13 dress for homecoming. :frowning: my legs look like sticks of spaghetti in comparison.

it obviously just means i have to lose more weight, lol

Nope. I’m a female, 5’10 and 130 lbs.

What’s up with all these short guys? =(

roadtoSomething?

Well, my guess is that a lot of CC’ers care more about academics than body building, but yeah I see your point. I want to get my weight up to 133-135 lbs but I metabolize stuff too quickly. I can gain 2 pounds in one day and by the next, my net gain would be almost zero. Kev, what’s your definition of scrawy? Like, BMI under 18.0? Below average weight?

I used to be a chubby little guy, but then I grew a foot and started working out. I’m at like 5’11 170. I plan on gaining some muscle within the next year though. It’s easier said then done though.

I weigh about 125 and i’m 5 foot 6 inches. Not to bad but, i’m trying to lose some tummy flab but’s other than that i’m pretty much lean muscle mass.

Gotta lose some weight.

6’ 0’’ 185 lbs

I’ve gained ten or so pounds since last year. Though I still wouldn’t consider myself overweight, it wouldn’t hurt to start working out a bit.

5’10 130 lbs

Haha I sound like I’d be really overweight, but I’m not. Female, 5’7" 155 lbs, size 6. According to the doctor I shouldn’t lose any weight because most of my weight comes from muscle because I play a ton of sports and my bones because they’re really dense (they’ve been that way since I was a baby). So yeah, I think body fat percentage is a way more accurate measurement than bmi.

Ha, I’m like 5’8" 110 now.

Lol, you lost 5lbs?

Ha, yeah. Don’t ask me how. I think it’s all the stress of junior year that did it. XD

Last year at this time-5’4, 90 lbs…this year…5’4 115/120 (girl) ohh yeaa

5’7 and like 130-135. I feel fat but I guess I’m not. I’m a girl btw.

5’7" and 135 pounds. I’d consider myself nicely built. The sad thing is, I’ve been this way since 7th grade (Nearing 11th grade now). You become self-conscious about your height over the years once you realize that all your friends who used to be shorter than you now all outgrew you.

6’0 tall 184 pounds at the moment. I don’t consider myself fat, or even overweight, I just don’t have any definition… I’m an athlete and tend to look better during the offseason when steadily lifting and doing cardio is an option. Plus, I tend to eat more during the season to keep up with the energy I need lol.
