<p>How is it? Things to do? Good neighborhood?</p>
<p>Went to law school at L & C, which is just a few hundred yards from the undergrad campus. The area around the campus is very upscale residential. Not much going on in the immediate vicinity, but of course one of the best cities you’ll find is only about 15 minutes away. The campus itself is beautiful.</p>
<p>As mentioned, the area around campus is residential and fairly quiet. The school does have a bus service that makes trips to a nearby Fred Meyer store and to the downtown area. Most students take advantage of this. In addition, Portland has an extensive transit system of busses and light rail. You can get to where ever you want. Portland has about anything you would ever want, while the campus can have the feel of being in a small community.</p>
<p>All true. DD2 has become something of an expert with the Portland bus system (heads downtown virtually every weekend).</p>
