<p>I am not sure I got those 2 names right, but could anyone explain the pros and cons of both...? I may do summer session there, campus village seems to be a little cheaper????</p>
<p>I live in AV now.
pros: close to albertsons where you’ll probably be doing the majority of your grocery shopping unless you have a car
tends to be quiet.
every house has a laundry room inside of it located next to the kitchen.
dorm environment if that’s what you want.</p>
<p>cons: the price for what you get. the only space that’s yours is your room. but then only half is really yours.
the kitchen can get a quite a bit dirty depending on the habits of your housemates (keep in mind that this can range anywhere from 15, 23 or 31 other people).
one bathroom per floor non-coed. so one my floor i share a bathroom with 9 others (i live in a 24 person house).
going with the number of people per house again, it can get a bit loud, especially when you’d rather it didn’t (like during finals or late hours of the night)
thanks to some recent changes, there’s only one washer and dryer per house regardless of resident size which will always cause you hassle.</p>

pros: apartment style with only 3 other house mates.
price. it’s a little less than av.
on campus. don’t have to leave early and take a shuttle to get to campus.
close to utc where most of the fast-food places are.</p>

one bathroom for four people which i guess really just depends on your house mates.
price, if you’re planning on living there year round (but for what you get compared to av’s price, it shouldn’t be too bad).
only two laundry buildings, and depending on what house you live in, it could be annoying hauling your laundry around.</p>

<p>@pinkprince , Thanks so much! So, in AV the bathrooms are like a dorm where yo have one bathroom for girls and one for boys with 3 showers or so, or 1 shower??? How many toilets? Is it in the area? I am just trying to envision where the heck the bathroom would be located if it is a house.Also, would you recommend investing in nice earplugs for av? BTW, I am quite dedicated with getting up early. What percetnage of people walk to campus? I heard bike restrictions are really bad on campus. Which hours could I bike to campus? Just curious, did you end up hating everyone you lived with at AV really fast do to the living situation? haha thanks again!</p>
