I keep watching videos of the series on Youtube in my spare time to feed my nostalgia.

Now that I'm not six anymore I recognize how great the character developments and plots are. I also noticed it's one of the few shows that actually gets better over the seasons. It's a superb kids' program. Only problem is Arthur does not look like a freaking Aardvark.

OMG, Yes!!! It was one of my favorites back in elemenatary school. I’ve become so nostalgic the past few months, with senior year approaching and all its like my childhood is slipping away from me. I think the theme songs of old kids’ programs were the best by far. I always listen to the Rugrats and Hey! Arnold theme songs all the time. Brings back so many good memories. I’m thinking about buying off everyone of my favorite kids’ programs off of amazon/ebay and treasuring them forever. :)

Hell yeah! I don’t know what they were smoking when they came up with an aardvark for a protagonist, but man am I glad they did. Actually, I wonder how many furries this show created… maybe it wasn’t such a good thing.

yeah…I remember some instances/episodes from the show quite vividly. When I got cable we got cable stopped watching it, though.

-arthur’s sister (I forget her name) calling water H20
-the episode at the fair, especially the pie eating contest
-arthur falling asleep on the bus and missing swimming practice, and his mom being worried
-arthur’s fears of buster being different after they hadn’t seen each other for a while.

haha I never knew he was an aardvark. I did not like the animation much in general, though. The characters were what kept me attached. It’s not a big trigger of nostalgia for me, but I would be curious to watch an episode (or two) to see how my conception of it watching it now is different from my younger self’s.

That’s so funny, I was just having a nostalgic throwback to old shows, too. Like Pinky and the Brain, CatDog, Doug. Those shows had the best theme songs ever.
