<p>I have my art portfolio ready (photography). I put it in print format, so basically it's in this portfolio book. I have room for a sort of preface thing, and it happens that for my EC elaboration I wrote an essay on photography (but ultimately ended up using my other essay I wrote about another EC for the app)....
...do you think I could put a short essay at the beginning of my portfolio? It's very short-- slightly less than 150 words, but I really like what I wrote. (Or should I include a list of all the art competitions I've placed in/won?) thx</p>

<p>I think it should be fine to include both the 150 words essay and the list of awards. But make sure to check the guidelines for art supplement submissions, and make sure that you have everything they require in the format they want.</p>
