Asian male with a low critical reading score

Hey guys.
I'm a senior asian male who will be applying to some of the top schools (including few ivies) this fall.
All of my scores (AP and SAT subjects) are IVY level scores with 4/5 on APs and 750+ on all of my subject tests.
But the problem is my reasoning. My total score is good = 2230.
But my Critical reading is 630. (Math&Writing are 800)
I won't be applying to any english related major. (engineering, to be specific.)
And people said regardless of ur major, scores like low 600s in critical reading will hurt your chance especially for the ivies...
Do you think i will be fine? (Btw, i lived in the U.S. for 5 years... so it was hard for me to raise my CR score...)

anyone??? bumppp

Oh puhleeze! Ivies do not want to admit robots! If it is any consolation, I got a 620 on CR. Just because it is not particularly spectacular does not mean that you have no shot at all. You are human and humans have weaknesses, no? Try not to focus too much on scores because I am certain you have much more to offer than just numbers :-). Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/816473-chance-aa-female-elite-schools-updated-stats.html</a> <–Include Yale also!

anybody else??? :)

you still have hope. I got a 650 on CR(epic fail) but a 2200 overall soour scores are better than mine. The only thing it might hurt is if you’re trying for a literature/english major. besides that you should be fine

680 - low? - your a joke. I have 670 math, 630 CR, 480 writing. <-Thats low.
You will get into Cornell, Columbia, but the other one will be difficult.
