Anyone happen to know the lowest SAT scores for Asians that have no legacy, are not recruited athletes, don't have exceptional talent in any subject area.... 2400?

I don't know that they're going to judge your SAT scores based on the fact that you are Asian, though your ethnicity may affect your chances somewhere else on your application.

Plus, they're not just going to look at your SAT scores, so it's kind of hard to find a 'lowest' SAT score when ecs, recommendations, etc. are also heavily considered. You could have 'low' SAT scores but an outstanding academic record, excellent recommendations, and awesome extra curriculars and be admitted in some instances.

A 2400 is a pretty good score (for any ethnicity) and as long as your other application sections are outstanding, I'd say that you stand a chance.

"is a pretty good score"...hahah.. I would be joyous if i could get a 2400...
I'm a korean female ... with a lame 2090 and 3.7 UW GPA. Looks like I'm screwed

oh..sorry. I misinterpreted the 2400. as your score. and then as soon as I posted I looked at your name. I feel stupid.

And as far as a 2090 is concerned.. I have that SAT I score, too. We've got pretty much the same score stats... so who knows what Yale will think of us.

To get into Yale you need to show that you will get the most out of the school and that you have something to offer it.

Asians imo upon reaching 2250 are safe in terms of SAT scores.
