Not all schools require a mid-year report, and as far as I know TCNJ is one of those schools. I don’t think I sent them mine and they never asked for it.

If TCNJ does not ask for a mid-year report, you send it anyway!!! Right now I think TCNJ is a slight reach and if you are doing well senior year (4.0 plus), then they need to know!

I hope you are planning to take the SAT’s again this Fall. If you can improve to at least 1300 and do really well senior year, you will have a better chance. TCNJ likes to see an upward trend, but only your junior year grades are TCNJ-type of grades they want to see. So, just make sure you do at least as well senior year.

The good news is that I believe that poly sci requirements would not be as stringent as engineering, business, pre-med, etc.

If it counts for anything, I want to do Poly Sci on a Pre-Law track. But yeah, I probably will take the SAT again. I really want to go to TCNJ, but the fact that I need financial aid makes me not want to apply Early Decision and I won’t. I will be writing a phenomenal essay in my eyes and I hopefully will have a good chance at admission. I want to submit my mid year report but I wouldn’t be able to until about January and I hope a decision wouldn’t be made by then.

If you apply regular decision you shouldn’t hear that early. I didn’t get my acceptance until about early/mid Feb. I would still send it in January.

well you used to be able to print 600 pages for free and then pay for every page after that but we got an email at the end of last year saying they were changing it. now you are going to have to pay 5 cents for every page (8 cents for a bigger page) that you print, so no, unfortunately no more free printing

the email said something like the average student prints 200 something pages per semester so you should expect to pay roughly $15 per semester if you print from the computer labs. you will be billed at the end of the semester.

yeah one of my friends thought they were lowering the number to like 100 free pages but i checked the email again and it doesn’t say anything about lowering the allocation i wish they’d just lower the amount of free pages instead of getting rid of it completely

yes, and if it’s between cutting out free printing or something like an extracurricular or educational program/tool, i’d much rather they do away with the free printing. dragging my printer up to my room won’t kill me ;)

personally, i think a 2.7 would be fine. whether or not a fridge is going to be too small (or too big) depends on the people using it. my roommate and i had a small, cooler-like fridge that was great for keeping our drinks cool. it died midway through march but we didn’t mind because we never really used it that much anyway. on the other hand, our suitemates rented one from the school and always had it stocked with frozen food and whatnot.

just remember it can’t exceed 3.5 cubic feet

yes some of the lounges are converted into quads. last year, i believe this only happened in the towers and not in Cromwell. i’m not even sure it ever happens in Cromwell.

no, i do not believe they are air conditioned. i asked people who were in quads whether or not they had ac and all the people i asked said no. some of the lounges do have working stoves though.

yes they are pretty roomy. some people set them up so that they each have their own little enclosed space while others keep it more open.

no they do not have wifi. technically, none of the dorms have wireless, however, if you are close enough to the library you may be able to pick up the signal. i’ll let you know in the fall as i’m living close to the library lol
