Ask me anything hs seniors

Im a science major at up right now, I did summer session, and I'm pledging a fraternity. I'll try to answer as best as possible

psufan- did you do the LEAP summer program? If so I would love to hear more about your experience with LEAP and whether you recommend it.

Yes I did leap and it was awesome. I took leisure and human behavior along with English 15. I had very little work and earned 2 As. On general leap classes are much easier than regular classes and leap classes are small. I became friends with everyone in my leap and y mentor was awesome. There are leap activities all the time so I was never bored. I highly recommend and encourage doing leap

Do you think they will weigh my learning disability into my grades and classes rigor? I did disclose it to them, and I love penn state, but they are going to take forever to get back to me. I submitted my application on September 15, and it was complete on September 23rd. Do you remember how long it took for your application?

Admissions at Psu up is a car shoot if you’re borderlone, so I can’t offer advice there, but I know my app was done by the end of September and I was accepted in mid October. I was early and very lucky, majority of my friends got accepted in January

psufan- I can imagine it must be a lot of fun to spend a summer on Penn State’s beautiful campus especially if the classes are fairly easy. I’m curious about how the housing works- does your dorm assignment for summer/LEAP carry over into the fall? Or do you have to move out and then move back in again?

You get different rooms, but when summer session is over, you can move things into your room for fall semester. I did this and move in day was a breeze
