@777629 Get apparel from BU’s Barnes and Noble site (http://bu.bncollege.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/BNCBHomePage?storeId=13555&catalogId=10001&langId=-1 it’s pricey but if you go through Amazon like I did once you’ll get helllaaaa ripped off). Best places for freshmen are either Warren or West, but because you want to be near main campus and you’re in CAS I 100% recommend Warren. It’s really not bad at all, and it’s pretty convenient for first years
Can anyone speak to grade deflation at BU? Difficult to get A’s? Therefore more challenging to get into a good grad school all things being equal?
@a12l34 I mean I am not a current student but BU is widely known for its huge grade deflation. I’ve heard students say that it’s very rewarding when they get an A. However, I think that Grad schools take into account that BU deflates grades, so it should be fine
@a12l34 @777629 I’m in Questrom and grade deflation really isn’t much of a thing. The 2 weedout courses for Questrom are hard and they design it so it’s not easy to get an A, but with that being said if you work hard you can still do well (I got an A-). It really depends on your major, the STEM kids tend to have harder classes but overall grade deflation isn’t as huge as everyone says it is here
