Cornell emailed and asked for AP test scores from last year...do you think it means anything? Has anyone else gotten this email?

I gave unoffical AP scores on my resume w/ my ED app, so I wouldn't know, but if your scores are good, send them! If they're bad, pretend you never got the email. It could mean they want to see how you do w/ college level work. Do your stats make you a seemingly borderline applicant for cornell?

I would take it as a good omen as AP scores are mostly used for placement.

I'm not really sure where I stand in the pool...I have a 1460 SAT, 800 Writing, 780 Phys, 700 Math, 650 History SATIIs, 3.9/4.0 GPA, good other stuff...i'm applying to the engineering program.

So do you think asking for AP scores is a sign of borderline rather than a sign of interest?

Did you take a lot of APs? They probably just want to validate what you have written down. They must have been impressed because they wouldn't feel the need to check mediocre scores.

I didn't write my scores on the application, they just saw that I had AP classes and called to see if I took the AP tests.
