I'm a junior, and just wrapped up a two-year course in which I took Physics, Chemistry and Biology. I received the top grade in my examinations in both Chemistry and Biology, but only an A in Physics - for this reason, as well as because I find it to be the most personally rewarding of the three sciences, I opted to continue with Physics and Biology in my junior and senior year, dropping Chemistry for the time being. The decision was made with my thinking that high school is too early to worry about applying to Med School, and I should be focusing on learning what I enjoy and what I can improve upon, as well as, at this point, essentially just getting into a good undergraduate program. I figured I could load up on Chemistry courses in university in order to pursue Medicine. For those with more experience (and likely a firmer grasp of logical choices), is this a completely needless, tangential move in light of what I plan to study? Will this decision simply makes things unnecessarily difficult for me down the line?
