Assigned Gregory College House - what's it like? should I try to change?

<p>I just found out I'll be in Gregory / Van Pelt. It sounds like it's a pretty quiet house, which I like, but I'm worried about not having a roommate. I've been thinking about trying to get my room changed and getting a double or triple in Stouffer</p>

<p>1) How close are roommates in the quads in Van Pelt? Are freshman missing out if they don't have the roommate experience?
2) How much do Van Pelt and C'25 interact?
3) Will it be a problem if I want to attend some of the MLP events but am in VP?
4) What facilities does VP have that C'25 doesn't and vice versa?
5) Is the house close knit?</p>

<p>Anything else? Reasons why you like the house/dislike it?</p>

<p>FYI, Stouffer is almost all singles. Generally, there are people who want trade out of doubles in more desirable dorms (even the Quad), but you have to look at the individual circumstances.</p>
