well put, hahahaha

haha agreed with the douschebag comment. stop trying to get constant reassurance by showing us your high stats. saying that you have done terrible (implying that you could of done better). you obviously did the best you could so i suggest you stop trying to prove your way beyond everyones level. and what you have done is quite exceptional. what it takes now is luck to get you into yale or any other ivy for that matter. but before you get the acceptance or rejection letter i highly suggest you grow up and stop trying to show how highly you think of yourself. “at this rate ill be a janitor”. because i am sure most janitors have gotten near perfect SAT scores (1550 out of 1600) like you have.

andyboy23: To be honest, the title was only to attract wandering eyes on the chances board. Seriously, after looking at the master list of acceptances /rejections on this site, I feel I have a right to be nervous about the whole process. What may seem like a shameless attempt at self-aggrandizement is actually my pathetic plea for help…seriously

Custodial work can be very rewarding if you achieve entrepreneurial status.

Asbestos cleanup has been lucrative.

Servicemaster and related franchises offer a middle class income or beter if you can manage and sell.

Considering recent world events, radiation decontamination could be a growth industry

As someone with a practically identical application (high SAT’s, GPA, few EC’s), i can sympathize with your predicament. On that note,
Brown-Medium reach
UPenn-Medium reach
Columbia-Medium Reach
Yale-REach
Wash U-My brother had worse grades and EC’s and he got in, so-probably in
UF (in state)-In
Bowdoin-In
Cornell-same as Wash U
Duke-low reach-maybe
FSU-In and then some

I think you will likley get into Duke, Columbia, brown, or UPenn (obviously not all) and almost certainly in Cornell or WashU

Please Chance me back

how…encouraging

Please, you are NOT going to be a custodian! Get over yourself. Seriously.
But yes, you have great chances at all the schools stated above.
You also may want to consider UC Berkeley or LA if you want a guaranteed in.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/720727-chance-me-please-bit-long-but-still-thanks.html#post1062626610

idk about that…

noreally: yes i understand it is very competitive out there. but you are an upper level student. if you don’t make it to the ivy of your choice then you are bound to wind up somewhere good. either way best of luck.

anyone else?

Just stop worrying and go to UF and have some fun.

not helpful…

bummpppppppppp

Helppppppp

once again i do not know why you are still asking for chances. no one here can predict if your going to be accepted or not. stop being so paranoid. people are going to be telling you the same thing over and over again. “you have an amazing shot i don’t know what you are talking about!” or “its always by chance” or “you have a great shot” or “always a little luck involved” etc etc etc. these people are not admission officers. hell i bet they know close to nothing of these schools.

but i guess until then do something relaxing where you wont have to think of college admissions. play golf or something…

custodial work? your a little ******bag
great stats and what not, but i don’t like you because of your arrogance

umm, thanks…

i think your in everywhere except Yale and I’m not sure about Penn.
