<p>I'm planning on applying to dental schools after college thus, GPA is really important for me. My high school has a online grading system, thus, I am able to check grades but does this exist for colleges? If so, which ones? Also, at what colleges are the grades not know until it appears on your transcript? Thanks.</p>
<p>I don’t know of any colleges where you have no idea of your grades until they show up on your transcript. many schools now show grades online, and even those who don’t will still provide your grades for assignments, tests, mid-terms, etc.</p>
<p>I don’t know of any schools where your entire grade would be based on the final exam (unless you opt that choice), so you would know your grades before then.</p>
<p>Of course, if you have great grades and then bomb the final that would be a problem at any school.</p>
<p>I know that at my kids’ undergrad, they can see all their grades online for tests, homework, etc. </p>
<p>Because many homework assignments are now submitted online, the resulting grade is posted online as well…sometimes within a very short time.</p>
<p>Thank you so much mom2collegekids, I’m so relieved that colleges do have online grade system. I don’t know why our school’s couselors tell us that we have to keep track of our own grades and that college professors never post grades. Thanks again!</p>
