If I am a top athlete recruit for soccer (ranked top 6 in the US) with a 3.45 gpa and average SATs, do I have a good chance of getting into University of Washington?? Please help.
Note there is a separate sub for athletic recruits on this website. You might get a better answer if you give out some more details. Did you sign a national letter of intent? Is the coach offering you a spot?
My apologies,I was unaware of that. But no, I just would like to know if there a good chance if the coach were to want as a recruit.
I don’t think anyone here can say without knowing more details. Are you interested in being recruited as an athlete, or just in going to this school. Your soccer will just be considered as an EC if you are applying on a regular basis. If you are going for an athletic recruit, then only the coach could tell you. Are you male or female, and what grade are you in? On what basis are you rated top 6 in the US? If you are rated that highly then I am guessing you already have coaches approaching you. I am guessing you are a goal keeper? If that is the case, the some schools may not be as interested because they have no need for a goalkeeper. You really need to send your profile and a highlight video to the coach to see if they are interested in you. Good luck!
If you are a top ranked athlete nationally, then a school like the University of Washington would absolutely recruit you. 100%.
