Atmosphere?

Hey everyone. I am just wondering what the atmosphere at Penn is like and if I were to apply ( and get accepted, doubt it) what it would be like at school there. I am from the West coast, and I hear a lot about how different life is back east, so I don't really know what it would be like going to school there.

how can i explain this better...
oh!
Ok. So when I went to visit berkeley, I found some stuff I wasn't really expecting. I thought it would be a lot like my town ( everyone in my town says berkeley is the exact same) but I found that a lot of the students weren't really that chill and...hate to say it ( my buddy told me it was finals week so that might have been it) but they kinda seemed like d-bags...
But yeah. Any current students or people who have visited, if you could let me know it would be really cool. Thanks.

I think i'm not saying everything right, so if you have any questions of what i mean( i wouldn't blame you haha) let me know.

I wrote a ton about the culture at Penn, but in a nutshell, you will find a little bit of everything at a school of 20,000 total students. There are D-bags, and there are incredibly nice people. Heck, the nicest person I've ever met goes to Penn. Penn's huge, so if you only look once, you will only get one impression; that will never due the school justice.

Last year as a freshman I saw a lot of jerks and incredibly conceited people. This year I have found far more modest, down-to-earth people who are a joy to be around.
