ATTN: To all that are borderline 3.0 uw this semester

I got my grades today. 4 Bs and a C. And I'm not sure which grade I can bring up. History-84, AP spanish-81, Art-82, AP Lit-77, AP Stat-84.

I'm really freakin out. What the hell do I do?

Bring your grades up.

Seniors, stop slacking off! You've got to make this happen.

damn, I bearly made 3.0 w last semester
i got AABCC, and i m a spring semester EECS admit
you think i will get it revoked because i m a spring admit and you think they will ask me for an explaination, now i m scared!!! AWW

A, A, B, C, C should average to a 3.0 unweighted....

Wow nice....you barely made it.

I'm freakin trying. I used to have Cs and Ds. I worked my ass off to get to Straight Bs and a C. Alas, though, I just gotta push a bit harder.

at cal day some also mentioned your admission will also be revoked if grades are different from your norm (comparision of senior year grades to overall grades)

That person was high.

If it's not on the "Conditions of Admission," it's not legal.

ha ha.... yes, don't be scared by people

lol sorry my bad
damn better pull a 3.0 again this semester w/o d and f
it seems so hard to get high GPA now lol

do you guys noe any people who get C's but average it out to be a 3.0 and got their admissions revoked from past yrs because i've been hearing rumors about this

That doesn't sound true.

"Complete all senior-year courses listed on your application with an overall unweighted B average for each term and no grade lower than a C. Immediately notify us, in writing: if you did not meet the grade point average condition for any term of your senior year; or of any changes to your senior year class schedule."

Why would they lie about this and thereby subject themselves to a probable lawsuit?

So long as there's no Ds and Fs and it averages out to a 3.0, you're good.

So, you could get AACC, BBBB, ABCB, or w/e, if all the courses are worth the same credit. If one course is a semester course and worth more credit, well, then it will weight the gpa more in its favor, so that's the course you would WANT to get at least a B in, cause it basically "counts twice". So, if you had 3 full year courses, and 1 semester course, you could get ACCB, BABC, CAAB, or w/e. Yes, I realize that this probably is pointless, because most of you can probably calculate your own GPAs, but, bleh, I just felt like typing it out so that one confused guy out there could realize the fooked-ness of his situation.

Kratos, you are semi-fooked, because you have a C in lit, and because your grades are SO borderline, that if you get bad grades in your finals, you're gonna be in a really, REALLY bad situation. This is the part where you start busting out 100s, not just As, one-hundred-fricken percents. Also, is that supposed to be "Kratos" from Tales of Symfonia? That game sucks.

As for my friend/associate/person thing, I don't know whats up with him. Perhaps I could call and ask, but I'm pretty sure the last person he wants to deal with is a guy like me ^_^;.

Starman, I already took one final, 2 aren't giving finals, art doesn't count. So I basically only have one history final. My grades are not going down. Thanks for the advice, support, though.

As for your Tales of Symphonia comment, yeah my name is from Kratos. Also, before you say it sucks, did you even finish it? And it matters what genre of games you like. If you don't like RPGs, then obviously you're not gonna like the game. I would find it hard to believe that as an avid RPG fan you would dislike ToS.

"That doesn't sound true.

"Complete all senior-year courses listed on your application with an overall unweighted B average for each term and no grade lower than a C.
Why would they lie about this and thereby subject themselves to a probable lawsuit? "

In that case why would they rescind any admission, im tired of all these frivolous lawsuits. America's a bit to sue happy

HELP!

I had a 3.0 exactly unweighted GPA last sememster, a 3.71 weighted, and I have like... a 3.33 unweighted and 4.33 weighted GPA this semester. I need to decide between Santa Clara and UCSD by tomorrow, but I'm scared that if i choose UCSD (my top choice), they'll revoke my admission and I'll be screwed. I'd call them but they're closed for the weekend. I know i should have called earlier but I've had so many other things going on i just plain forgot. I did email them weeks ago, but they never reply to my emails. Do you think they'd revoke my admission? Could I declare yes for both? Somebody advise me!

I forgot to mention that I got a 3 A's, 2 B's, a C and a D last semester. (D was in AP Physics, and I have special circumstances for that). I've shaped up hella this semester, and I have all A's cept in physics and calc. would they revoke my admission??

SD is weighted so i wouldn't worry too much
i m just worries cuz i had a 3.0 last semester for berk and now i m hardly pulling a 3.0. They better not revoke it

should i go to carnegie mellon instead cuz they already have my mid year report and they still admitted me?

btw, i really want to noe if anyone who noes ppl who got revoked because they got a 3.0

OR they have a way lower GPA but still above 3.0 than their past semesters?

PS sorry for three different posts
