ATTN: To all that are borderline 3.0 uw this semester

"PS sorry for three different posts"

YOU *****. How dare you post 3 separate times in a row on an internet message board with people you don't even know?!?!? Someone ban this guy right now.

4.0 baby!....but not sure abou 2nd semester.

Second semester is death...trying to stay focused on high school work and attempting to maitain a high GPA while preparing for your student orientation and getting ready to go to college.

If I choose SD, and they revoke my admission, what happens? Would Santa Clara take me in under those circumstances, or would I have to go to a two year college?

somebodyy! I'm really stressed about this :( I'd call them but they're all closed fort he weekend and the deadline's tomorrow

You would be SOL to be it shortly. Keep your grades up, and if you don't, have fun as a transfer applicant at a California community college.

SD on requires a 3.0 weighted though, not unweighted.

Oh thank God. Starman isn't coming to Berkeley. The biggest loser on these message boards.

aww no one replied me, you think berk will revoke my 3.0 ? it's like really borderline and i got in eecs which is like crazy

yes they will. if you get under 3.0. but not 3.0.

no questions asked, it will be revoked if under 3.0.

REVOKED.

"You would be SOL to be it shortly"

i don't understand, what's SOL?

Oh yea, and if i get above 3.0 weighted (for SD) for both semesters, but i had a D in physics last semester, would they still revoke?

SOL means, in nicer terms, you're outta luck. (I fulfilled the O and L part).

Well, you need to contact admin for that; for CAL, it may not be necessarily revoked if that's the only blotch on your record.

"Oh yea, and if i get above 3.0 weighted (for SD) for both semesters, but i had a D in physics last semester, would they still revoke?"

My friend got a D last semester. At admit day, the people said his admission maybe withdrawned.

Yeah, the contract says stay above 3.0 unweighted and no Ds or Fs in any A-G courses. So that D in physics might be a problem.

physics is a pain this year =/
barely squeaked by last semester, this semester EM is even worse...

I'll declare SD and hope for the best. Hopefully they don't revoke my admission... If they do I'll get my physics teacher to write them a letter. I'm doing much better in his class this semester, and that should count for something. Thanks for all the help you guys!

"Oh thank God. Starman isn't coming to Berkeley. The biggest loser on these message boards."

Hey man, what teh fook? Last time I checked, I am super cool and I rock, so YEAH.

Get over yourself you silly boy.

At any rate, sunsandmoons, you should notify UCSD like RIGHT NOW about your D and state your special circumstances. Since you have a 3.0 unweighted regardless, and since your grades this semester are wakka woababa, then I'd figure that you wouldn't have much to worry about.

SOL= **** Outta Luck.
