Hi, I'm looking to move out soon and get my own place.

A lot of places I see do not include utilities and I was wondering how much do you usually pay for your utilities (to get an idea of more or less what to add to the rent cost).

Ill be living alone in a 1/1 and rarely ever use the oven or stove. I do, however, like the AC always on.

Any ideas?

I know a lot of the places I’ve seen have included utilities but that may be because the minimum apartment size is a 2/2. I would suggest that you look on one of those searching sites for apartments specifically in Gainesville and checking to see if any of those offer utilities in the rent. If not, whenever you take a tour of the place I would ask since they would probably be able to give you a good idea of how much it costs, especially since they probably live in that apartment complex.

Thanks, the place i live in now has utilities included, but I’m just looking to leave this place (with awful random roomates), and just get my own affordable place. I was justasking so when I look at ads online I can calculate the estimated utilities into the rent and see if I can afford it.

Id like to find a safe 1/1 for about $500- $650 tops, including utilities in there.
