yeah, i'd like to know the average act for engineering. i got a 33.

Im applying to engineering too. Is it super hard to leave/get in? What if i dont want to be a engineer afterwards? And they actually superscore!? Though it sucks, i only got 1 point higher superscored

Yes...I get a 33 if they superscore

I'm wondering what the average is for CAS and CALS

CALS mid. 50% is 26-31. Usually URM's and Non-Bio/AEM majors represent the sub-50% margin

^^ Those are the stats for enrolled students. Expect the stats for the accepted pool to be higher.

they superscore!!

So will the average for AEM majors be substantially higher?

It depends on the matriculation rate.

oh right, good call kentric. so it would more likely be 28/29 - 32/33 college-wide. I would think the higher end would be present at CAS and engineering

yeah i got a 31.5 so it rounded up to 32 : 30 E 36 M 30 R 30 S.
does having a higher math help significantly when applying to the college engineering?

it doesn't help in the fact that it sets you higher than the other applicants.

it does show that you are in the same league as the other applicants though.

wait a 29 on the ACT is like a 2000 on the SAT..if someone with a 29 could get into CALS @ Cornell, could someone with a 2000 SAT score get in?

yes. although if you are trying for bio or AEM, it might be harder with a 2000.
