THX!

A couple of comments here. I'm glad you are so good in math, but I wouldn't count on automatically getting 800 on MathIIC and 800 on your Math SAT, no matter how good you are. (I say this as someone who got an 800 on both math portions of the SAT II). The reason is that the SAT test is a six hour test, and people get tired and make stupid mistakes. You might be able to guarantee a 770 plus on these tests, but not a 800. You might even get a 800 on the SAT II, but only a 780 (my score) on the SAT I math.

UPenn (Wharton)--Reach (reach for everyone--for you maybe, slight reach)
Michigan(Ross)ann arbor--Match to Slight Reach
NYU stern--Match
Indiana bloomington (Kelley)--Safety to Safe Match
UC berkeley (Haas)--Reach (OOS)--your GPA really hurts you at this school
Georgetown(Mcdonough)--Match
Carnegie Mellon --Slight Reach
Illinois Urbana-Champaign--Safe Match to Match

P.S. If you want to try a tough math test, take the Putnam Math exam when you get into college. The test is twelve questions graded on a 0 to 120 scale. The average score for all college students who attempted it last year (5,000 competitors from 700 schools) was a 10!!!!--no joke, that's ten points out of 120. This is because over half of all the competitors don't get any of the questions correct. If you can get 6 out of 12 correct, you will score in the top 1% to 2% of competitors. Usually getting 9 correct means you finished first in the competition.

Also, I presume you are aware that at some of these colleges you aren't directly admitted to the business schools, but have to apply to them later after being accepted to the college. This is the case at Michigan, UC Berkeley, and Indiana (although I think you would get direct admit status at Indiana based upon your test scores).

thx so much, calcruzer!

putnam haha...i'm so gonna make a joke out of myself =)

well I've also been thinking about cornell, the ILR program, is it direcly admitable? is it a good program? I've never really heard of it....

sansan:

UCB: Slight Reach (out of state)
