Hey everyone, I just received a letter in the mail today from my community college informing me I have won an Honors award in my field of history - I'm going to fax and mail the letter that I received to the schools I have applied to - and call on Monday. I am assuming this is the correct (and only) action to take, just wanted to make sure with the masses.

yep, do it. Better late than never

Good plan. It might be too late for admissions committees to consider the new info, but it can't hurt to send it. Adding a cover letter with your name, birthday, application number, etc. might help the office to process the fax more quickly and get it in your file on time.

I'm a transfer, so maybe they haven't checked me out yet - but good thought on the extra info, I appreciate the help.
