That anyone know which school would be better in order to get a masters in school counseling with a PPS program? My options are Azusa Pacific, University of La Verne or Concordia University Irvine. Concordia is the most affordable and is about 10K less than Azusa Pacific. University of La Verne is about 5K cheaper. Cost is a concern, but if Azusa has a much better reputation I would go for it. Any insights?
Doesn’t CSU Fullerton have an Educational Psychology program too? The PPSC is offered at CSUs as well. I only mention that because state schools are more affordable, and generally they are all accredited. Make sure whatever school you choose is accredited and approved by the BBS. I have no info on these schools, just wanted to mention the above.
Thank you! CSU Dominguez Hills and Long Beach do offer the programs, but they are very competitive and schedule wise might not work with my work schedule as the private schools do. But you are right, it is more affordable and I am willingly to apply. But the schools mentioned above I believe I would get in and they allow me to keep my full time job while earning my degree. ( except when I will take a leave to complete my internship).
