Do the little signs after a letter grade mean a lot when applying to colleges? Do they consider A- kind of like a B? I'm the type of person that just meets the requirements.. My only reference right now is my freshmen year, I had
1- B+
1- A (elective)
4- A-

Because if you work your butt off and end up with an 89, and your friend goofs off and slides in with an 80, do you want to both get the same B? At least you'll have a B+ and she'll have a B-.

But that said, I'm not sure how much weight the + and - carry with colleges.
