As many CC members will no doubt be applying to top-tier schools (HYPS, MIT, other Ivies), I'm just wondering how do these school's adcoms view B's. Are they a huge disadvantage to your chances of being accepted?

I attend a difficult private school where I don't get all A's just because the classes are so much more difficult than at a public school (where I would most likely be earning straight A's without breaking too much of a sweat). However, these difficult classes teach me the material extremely well. My recent AP scores followed by what grade I received in the class for the second semester are as follows:

Calc BC- 5 (B+)
Physics B- 5 (B)
Chemistry 5 (A-)
French 5 (B+)
English 4 (B)

Does this ruin my chances at schools such as Stanford, WashU, and Rice?
