You are a sophomore in high school with no college/pre college experience and here you are looking down on people who have gotten further in life than you have? Your attitude is what’s out of proportion here along with your BS talk. Boohoo Temple is bad? What about your one thread about having a D on your transcript and complaining that you now have no chance getting into (haha the top 12 schools on us news). Have you even visited these schools? Have you figured out what college life would be like? Honestly you’re just throwing out names from a top schools list based on prestige and name. There’s more to college than getting a piece of paper at the end of 4 years saying “Graduated from Harvard”. As a sophomore maybe you’ll still have time to learn. If not, you’re in for a real beating.</p>

<p>1) So what, is Temple now on the level of HYPSM? This has been stated multiple times, read before you post. Temple is not the type of school that the OP is aiming for. That doesn’t mean it’s a lousy school, or that people can’t be happy there. A 3.0 might get you into Temple, but it won’t get you into any elite schools. I didn’t say anything bad about Temple, just that it’s much easier to get into than the schools the OP is looking at.</p>
