<p>Hey I'm a student of Jamaica, in the west indies. I did really bad in grade 12. i got Ds although i did well in grade 11. Do grade 12 results matter? Can't I make up my bad grades in 12th by taking sat II?</p>
<p>if the colleges get to see your grade 12 results, they do matter. if u've been doin well throughout school and suddenly spoiled the grade 12 exams, they'll probably expect you to provide an explanation for the sudden drop in grades. if u've valid reasons and good SAT II results, you'll be in good shape i guess. </p>
<p>but if u spoiled the exams due to too much tv and playstation, hard luck. just get excellent sat II scores and give it a try... with great recs and essays, you never know..

<p>Most schools do look at the grade 12 marks. It depends on why your grades dropped that much in your last year. If you just bombed your finals, than you might be a little bit saver than if you just screwed up in your classes. Good luck to you... I hope you find a university that will not weigh your grade 12 grades heavily.</p>
