BAD new concerning class of 2013 acceptance rate

I just went to brown for a college visit this weekend, and they said that they already have an accurate projection of what this year’s acceptance rate is going to look like.
Drumroll…

8-9%!!!

■■■

You’re joking, right?

Well, that’s still above the staircase plateu, which is nice.

No joke. I was just there Friday afternoon.

well then ■■■ is right

ughghghghg

I’m pretty surprised they’d say anything about that.

Fmlfmlfmlfmlfmlfmlfml

Yep, they did. It was some blonde admin officer who majored in slavic studies… I forgot her name.
But on the bright side, it was the best college visit ever! I <3 Brown!

ugh…this stinks

It used to be 13/14-ish percent … 8 or 9 percent makes for a 5 percent drop… look on the bright side … it’s ONLY 5 percent!

Ok I’m deceiving myself. Hello UMich!

eight
gulp

as it is I had a teeny weeny chance

well i mean, brown DID get a huge increase in applications. We should’ve expected the drop…

p.s. what does that mean the rate for yale will be now…5-7%?

Sorry, but wha does ■■■ stand for?

When dealing with teenage lingo, look no further than urbandictionary.com, America’s #1 trusted source for over 9000 years:

[Urban Dictionary: ■■■](Urban Dictionary: ■■■)

[Urban Dictionary: over 9000](Urban Dictionary: Over 9000)

Conquestor, thanks for the tip on a reference tool that I obviously am very much in need of.

Conquestor, your use of over 9000 makes you ok in my book.

■■■ x infinity.

This is absurd. :)

Yayyy.

not only is it a 8-9% admit rate…think of the 91-92% of highly competitive applicants that will be rejected…

I hope she was wrong and it’s really 10%. 10 would at least make me feel better. That means that 1 in 10 get rejected, not 1 in 12. It just throws off the whole evenness. :(

I’m weird.

I hope Brown likes math contests…
