Bad standardized test scores

As a whole, my application is pretty good until it comes to standardized test scores.

I need some thought…

My ACT composite is 30

I never took the SAT just never was emphsaized although i live on the east coast.

My subject test scores are
680 - math 2
690 - bio

I know that Brown overrides sat I and subject tests with the ACT, but do you think I should still send my subject test scores, even though my ACT isn’t so great either.
i wish i could explain to them how i start to freak out on tests like this and can never make it passed the first hour lol.

If you really want to explain it, why not write about it under the additional info section?

If your GPA is good though, I think that's a better measurement of your academic ability. And commitment to ECs is also more valuable, IMO.

If the rest of your app really is good, then the standardized test scores shouldn't hinder anything too much.

But that's just my $.02.

your scores are not bad at all. if they do not accept you, it is not based on those scores

BlinkAngel has an excellent point. Try to put forth the fact that you just aren't competitive in term of standardized test because of your nerves. It isn't fair that you would be assessed on something that doesn't really demonstrate your true capability. Bring it up in a quirky essay about "the day of my SAT test," or something likewise creative. Maybe have your counselor emphasize you well your work ethics are and how poorly standardized test exude your true potential. Otherwise, don't sweat it and add a few safeties to your list so you can balance out the more competitive schools.

thanks guys and yeah my gpa is around 3.96 I believe with one B in high school.
I think ill explain this in my additional info section.

Your test scores aren't bad at all. My ACT composite is only 1 point more than yours and I'm still applying.

Though, I definitely don't have as high of a GPA... sadly, that's the only bad thing about me. But oh well...

okay now that i think about it i don't know how to word it so that it doesn't sound like im making up an excuse for bad scores :(
