Hey, I have OK sats but not good enough for HYP. (690, 690= 1380.)

My first three SAT II scores were 730 writing, 680 math ic, 600 lit. I took math level iic this sat and i think i did really well (750+) but for physics i started bleeding, missed a lot of the material, and didn't know the quesiton.

so maybe my highest 3 will be:
math iic 750
writing 730
lit/phys (depends what i get on phys) either 600 lit or perhaps 630 phys

should i just focus on boosting the sat 1s (i think i can make it above 1500) or retake physics december? (taking the 1s in january(

Do any of your colleges specificallly require a science score?

If so - and your parents are up for it, you could register late for December (I think the last day is tomorrow), and cancel if your physics score is ok. You shouldn't add more load on yourself unless it is absolutely necessary.

It depends on what you plan on studying I would think. If you plan on being an english/lit major or physics major, HYP might have some second thoughts. But like I said, I think 1 not so good SAT II won't be a point of major contention as long as you have a good SAT I score. SAT scores aren't as important as you would think. Focus on the rest of your app.

Unless there is another SAT II that you are pretty sure you can break 700 on without much prep, concentrating on school, apps and the SAT I's looks like the best plan.
