Bagel availability at Penn

I love bagels, as everyone should. Since I’m in bed with the flu and delirious, I decided to make a thread discussing the staggering availability of bagels on the Penn campus.

Wawa on 38th st

Wawa on 36th st

7-Eleven

Starbucks (1920)

Starbucks (34th & walnut)

Starbucks (34th & chestnut…yeah we have 3 starbucks)

Bucks County 40th st

Bucks County sansom row

That weird caf

.................. =o

But can you get Bialys?

doesn't Gia Pronto have bagels? Do egg and cheese bagels count?

What about Metropolitan bakery? And the place on Sansom is called Saturn Club.

Does Club Wizzards have bagels?

Gia Pronto probably has bagels but you'd have to confirm that. Metropolitan bakery probably does but i have no idea where they are.

Wizzards, probably not so much....

Sounds like you need to find somewhere on campus that sells theraflu! Get better soon.

One of my housemates was nice enough to buy me some DayQuil and vitamin waters.

That was really nice, especially since MomOfWildChild said that off-campus housemates just mess up your kitchen and steal your stuff. cue the eye-rolling

this is hilarious. when i read the thread title and poster's name i started laughing. nice job.

Gia Pronto does, indeed, have bagels. I believe it has stand-alone bagels, but even then, a bagel sandwich still includes a bagel.

Accenture Cyber Cafe in SEAS also has bagels.

And can someone confirm if the cafe at the nursing school has bagels? They must.

gia pronto, accenture, nursing would would bring us up to 36.

Eat your heart out, Princeton. 'cuz you sure dont have enough bagels to be eating :P

How are the bagels compared to Long Island bagels?

How's the burrito scene?
eg chipotles

For burritos, there is a Qdoba, MexiCali, at least 3 Mex. food carts, and a new Mex restaurant opening up in Hub II.

There are also some sweet restaurants in downtown Philly

where's the Hub II?

What about The Restaurant School?

oops.

Hub II is a mini-Hub they will be building across the street from Hub, but what I meant to say is on the 2nd floor of Hub

there's also an ABP in CRB; Metropolitan Bakery is across Walnut from the Bridge, though I am unsure of its bagel status. there's an additional starbucks in the domus apartments on chestnut that recently opened, and if fro gro counts then I guess supreme can too

What are CRB and Supreme?

oh! though technically maybe Drexel's campus, how about Eccoqui at 32nd and Chestnut? I run by there a lot.

I'd argue it's close enough to count, a lot of people have class in DRL and that is on 33rd, so 32nd is next door lol.
