THIRD starbucks opens on Penn campus :D

I am writing this from the new starbucks that has opened up in the DOMUS apartments on 34th and chestnut...that's right, a mere block away from the starbucks on 34th and walnut. Life is good.

I'm pretty sure penn has to be setting a record for most starbucks on campus

Where's the 3rd? And how is Bucks County Coffee holding up amidst all the Starbucks?

There's one in 1920 commons that goes on dining dollars. Isn't there another in the book store?

The one in the bookstore is not a starbucks or a bccc. It's a shame.

Have you ever been to Seattle?

Too many Starbucks here? Probably. Setting a record? Not even close.

starbucks is a rip-off. i don't know why you're so happy about it.

rip-off of what?

Compared to McDonalds and Wawa coffee, perhaps. But you'll notice I said I was sitting in the starbucks, not simply drinking the coffee.

To the bookstore's credit, it recently switched from some P.O.S. coffee claiming to be 'fair trade' to a mini-starbucks. So perhaps you could say we have 3.5 Starbucks. Either way, it's glorious.

Not such a big deal. Harvard and Yale have at least two or three Starbucks locations within a couple blocks of their campuses. Cornell got its first Starbucks (in Collegetown) last year.

Within a couple of blocks is for second-tier schools, champ.

We have 3. All of which are ON the campus.

Google maps confirms the victor, and it is not you...well you dont even actually go to yale so it's doubly not you.

What's the difference? They are all practically on-campus. At Cornell, Collegetown is closer to where most students live than most of the rest of campus itself is.

Cornell is no Penn. And you're no Jack Kennedy (because he went to Yale at some point).

Starbucks coffee is terrible anyway. We could use 3 Dunkin' Donuts.
