Baits

Anyone else in the absolute HELL that is Baits II?? worse freshmen college experience EVER. almost makes me wish i would have gone to another school. i hate taking buses, hate that all my friends are on central, i hate bursley's dining hall, no one on my hall is friendly..i've tried making friends btu it's hard when you have like 6 people to choose from omfg WHY would they put freshmen here? i hate going to markley because i'm so jealous of the freshmen living there :(

how do i escape this prison??

Rofl. You hate Bursley’s dining hall? The Blue Apple looked really nice to me…anyways if you’re an LSA student, you’ll likely be living in central campus for your other years. I’ll be living in North Campus for all 4 years probably (which I guess isn’t too bad being an Engineer).

Just a random question…if Bates and bursley are filled with Freshman, where do Sophomore+ Engineers live?!

EDIT: Nvm, I guess they live in Northwood =]

Blue Apple isn’t a dining hall, lol. I work there. Blue Apple is just a convenience store that makes smoothies/pizza/sandwiches… the dining hall is separate and I don’t know why people say it’s the best on campus, because um…it’s really not.

^ Oh dang lol. When I went online and saw the Blue Apple, I was like “wow, the dining hall here is really nice…”. So you can’t use your meal plan to eat lunch/dinner in the Blue Apple? Is there anywhere that has a pic of the actual dining hall?

It’s Baits, and only 3 of the houses are freshmen-only (that’s out of 12 houses, i think?? someone correct me if i’m wrong). Bursley isn’t only freshmen, and it has a lot of Engineers/art students. And the Courtyards apartments across the street have a lot of engineers/art students as well. North campus is terrible for LSA students though, or for students who like to have an actual social life (and I’m not just talking about parties).

It depends on your meal plan, but you can use dining dollars at the blue apple. it doesn’t count as a meal, but if you get the 125 meal-block plan, you get like $300 dining dollars so you can definitely get a lot of food at the blapple with that!

and i don’t think there’s any pics of the dining hall…the only one i can really find is mojo, and that’s because it’s new (and amazing).

Here’s a picture of the Bursley dining hall:
