Baldwin Wallace Auditions

Anyone auditioning November 7th at BW?

I am! I’m very excited/nervous!!! I’m going go see the wild party on the night of the 7th, which should be really cool too!!!

Hey all, My name’s Joe Fedore. I’m currently a Freshman here at B-W in the Musical Theatre program, and it is simply wonderful! If any of you have questions about auditioning or the program in general; I’ll be happy to answer them! Best of luck guys!

I do have a question about the audition day. When you go into the audition room, do you get to sing all three of your songs, or do you pick one and then they choose which others they want to hear? Do you do your monologue at the same time?
Thanks for your help!

When I auditioned, I went in with my three 16-Bar cuts and Vicki picked two of them. Then, I did my monologue. Obviously, Vicki may want to hear all of your songs, so make sure you have ALL 3 prepared. Also, If you have a second monologue; just to be safe: bring it as well.

I am too! I’m also going to see Wild Party. I’m so excited!

Did they sped time talking to you when you were done? Did you bring your picture/resume with you in the audition room?

When I auditioned, I was right before their lunch break! haha. So, they did actually talk to me for a few minutes, asking about where I was from and what some of my favorite musical theatre composers were. And yes, I did have my resume and headshot; but I believe that someone outside of the actual audition room will be collecting those. Also, If you don’t own any already; (and I apologize in advance for such late notice guys) you really ought to invest in some tights, dance shoes, or any dance clothes in general. Dance here is becoming just as important to a good audition as all the other aspects here. So, I hope to see lots of you at the Bob Klein Masterclass on Saturday and at your auditions! Break a leg!s

We are going to see wild party as well. I think it should be a great show.

it IS a great show--

Yes, you’ll have 3 songs prepared, and Vicky picks 2. You’ll also do your monologue in the audition room. We have a great day planned for you-- the Bob Cline master class will be a good one! : )

SEE YOU SOON!

Does the monologue have to be classical?

hey renee-- just replied to you on the other thread!
