<p>Approximately, when will the sign-ups for Bama Bound (Fall 2011 entrants) and Outdoor Action be open?</p>

<p>“Admitted students, who have paid the Freshman Enrollment Deposit and made accommodations for fall housing, may register and submit payment for the appropriate session online through myBama.”</p>

<p>“Once you have logged in to the myBama system, select the Academics tab. Under the Academics section, select the Orientation Registration link to complete your registration process.”</p>

<p>The current message we see on myBama reads: “We are not taking orientation registrations at this time. Please contact the Office of Admissions and Scholarships for assistance at (205) 348-5666 or toll free at 1-800-BAMA (2262).” We may be getting this message because my son has already completed Bama Bound, so check for yourselves.</p>

<p>Also, FWIW, when I spoke last year to Dr. Fran O’Neal, the director of Outdoor Action, she indicated that they may double the number of students they accept into the program (currently capped at 40). It’s a great program. My son loved it.</p>
