Roll tide, indeed! :)

Was there a new UA TV spot, or was a rerun from the “Touching Lives” series used?

rerun

personally, I think a couple of these Touching Lives ads seem over produced. I wish they would just show shots of the prettiest spots on campus, and show students having fun, studying, researching, etc.

Malanai, it was actually her friends sign: lime green with Joe Paterno riding on a dinosaur :)

Robotbldmom: D said she was right in the row behind the body painters; we never saw her though cause she’s short. She said even on the Jumbotron you could only see the top of her head. She may not see much of today…

I don’t care for the TV add that just shows water. It doesn’t show the school, the labs, the classrooms, etc. It doesn’t “sell” the school.

For an ad to be effective, it needs to show the pretty views of campus, the students doing stuff (labs, having fun, learning, researching), and some mention of achievements.

That’s funny you say that, m2ck, because those are reasons I like the river one the best. It’s so vague it’s intriguing!

Did the University advertise much/at all during Gameday? I was part of a group that camped out for the show, so I didn’t see any of the commercials.

Side note: Lee Corso is much, much shorter in person.

The schools usually do not get complimentary spots for airings of Gameday - only for the games themselves.

Is Gameday on every week? Is 'bama on gameday every week

Idinct, ESPN College Gameday is on every week during the football season, but it travels around each week to a different school that is playing in a good game that week.

I just checked the football schedule, and the Duke game will be on TV, ABC, next week.
