<p>Hey everyone, I love this idea of having a band at Brown! I've been singing my whole life and playing guitar for about three years. Only recently have I been confident enough in my guitar skills to play in front of anybody. </p>
<p>I love most types of rock music, and my favorites are Led Zeppelin, the Beatles, System of a Down, the Beach Boys, No Doubt, and I really like Green Day's new cd.</p>
<p>I liked Weezer before people MY age liked them, and... I guess this doesn't fit, but I loved Josh Groban before he became famous. </p>
<p>Too bad I couldn't really join in the whole "getting chicks" part of the band, but I'm sure the rest of the experience would be awesome.</p>
<p>I love Josh Groban!! I have spent an obscene amount of money going to concerts. Josh is just wonderful.</p>

<p>I'm definitely not trying to be stuck up about my music -- I don't pretend to know what's good...It just pains me a bit when people like such destructive, thoughtless "artists". I think life's too short to waste time on that violent, vulgar stuff. Certainly wasn't trying to trounce on anybody's musical tastes. Eminem just offends me :(</p>

<p>I sing and play the drums for a band, and I'm hoping to join a band (or at least jam) at Brown.</p>
<p>I like virtually every type of music.</p>
<p>My favorite types are classic rock, alternative rock, techno, 80's pop rock and classical.</p>
<p>My favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, The Streets, Blondie, The Clash, Modest Mouse, Maroon 5 and Pink Floyd.</p>
<p>I used to like Radiohead until I realized how depressed I became by listening to it. Same with the movie "The Wall".</p>
<p>I've heard Brown has a great radio station! Maybe it will be playing some of our music :).</p>
<p>If I am accepted to Brown, I am going to have my own apartment near campus.
As I was attending my local Community College to knock out my first two years of my degree, I also took recording/engineering classes.
I am bringing all of my recording equiptment, so when I find the other musicians to complete a band, we will be able to cut some demos, if needed.
I'm want to jam for fun, but if it happens to grow into something bigger, that would be fine by me.</p>
