<p>The deferral letter says, in simple terms, that the deferred candidate needs to start kissing the Bard admission’s team’s ass in order to get in during the next round. :)</p>
<p>@musicbiochem: Ah, I’m sorry to hear about your rejection from the conservatory. But yikes! Competition for a piano spot must have been incredibly high. Sometimes I wish I played a slightly more obscure instrument–every conservatory has a million violinists vying for admittance.</p>
<p>@dudecollege: I didn’t quite get that vibe from my letter, ha ha. If I do get rejected the second time around, I’ll reapply after a year at whatever college I decide to attend. I haven’t given up on Bard quite yet.</p>
<p>Does anyone know what percentage get deferred from early action, and out of those deferred, what percentage are ultimately accepted?</p>
